We had two Carriage Cameos and generally well built. A common problem with the units was the gear drive for the slides. We had two friends with the 37RE3 that both had the drives on the big kitchen and bedroom slide break. It can be repaired.
Make sure that the slides all operate smoothly and minimal noise. If they are not smooth and make noise, they are headed for problems. If this is a private individual, you might see it they had any repair work done on the slide drives.
Also, check the slide wipere seals as well as the bulb seals. If they are weathered and cracked, you will need to look at replacing them.
And as noted, the current Cameo by Crossroads is nowhere near the quality of the original Cameo trailer. The original Cameo units had a stacked rectangular tube frame and not the thin channel frames on the current units.
Lifestyle (Evergreen) built a trailer with very near the same construction.
