2011 Jayco Eagle Super Lite 30.5 BHLT Review

Hi, thinking about buying a used 2011 Jayco Eagle Super Lite 30.5 BHLT. Wondering if anyone has any opinion about this unit, either good or bad. Thanks!

  • I had a 2014 BHLT and the only real issue I had was TV placement, 90 degrees to the couch. We used the "loft" for extra storage as we were home schooling a teen. His school work, computer printer etc lived there. Windows a little hard to open, mechanically no issues. We had a second A/C and in my area is was needed. PM me if if you want pictures of mods we did.

There is a Jayco owners forum https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/
There were very few 30.5BHLT owners.
  • Just in general a 2011 is usually going to be put together somewhat better than a 2015 or newer trailer. That was when the RV industry was in the deep sheet right before coming out of the downturn. They had retained the best workers and management through that mess, and the push as many out the door daily manufacturing was on the back burner.

I still kick myself for selling a 13 and buying a 17. Jayco once had an almost fanatical customer base prior to and during the downturn, not so much after or today. There were reasons for that.
  • I have a 2011 Jayco 31.5RLTS {almost identical) which I bought new. Had a crack which was fixed at the factory and never had another problem with structure. Its been a good trailer. We have wintered in it since we have had it. Not had any problems with it. I have made some changes to it, bigger wheels, lt truck tires, and have been thinking about putting disc brakes on it. Its been an ideal trailer for what we use it for.
