The leak is most likely due to the slide itself. I would make sure the slide is aligned properly and no longer leaking. i would also make sure everything on the roof is good, water can travel inside the roof and run on framing to a low point. The framing is also aluminum, so no rot there.
We have the same camper, same year, same model, just not with the velocity package. We love it, and it has been good to us. The only issue we had was with a tire blowing and ripping the skirting off of the raptor. We just upgraded to 17.5 tires to get rid of that problem.
