Not really, the minute you roll off the lot it's dropped in value. If you wanted to sell it back to the dealer you won't get what you paid for it, it's now a used 2014. First couple years of ownership is when depreciation hurts the most.
I recognize that. However 3 years from now they will be selling a 4 year old trailer. That means 2-4 K reduction in trade or resale value from a 13 to a 14. That's when you pay back the good deal you got when you bought the year old model. If you keep the trailer for a number of years that becomes less significant.
