2014 Mobile Suites Traditions

Have a chance to buy a 2014 Traditions for 45k.
I know its a entry unit by Mobile Suites but still great deal.
Have 2 to 4 yrs to retire so not ready.
Also would need a 1 ton Dually to pull it.
3/4 Ton not enough.
Timing is ever thing.
  • Two likely reasons the Tradition disappeared:

    1. It was an oddball unit in the DRV lineup. The Mobile and Elite Suites share frames, suspension, etc. The Tradition had a totally different frame.

    2. The Tradition overlapped the price points of the high end Heartland 5th wheels. DRV's new owners likely didn't want the two lines competing with each other.

  • We were going to wait till closer to retirement to buy our full time rig. As it turned out a deal came up we could not refuse and bout our current unit 4 years ahead of plans. As it turned out it was a good decisions. It has allowed us to be using the unit for 4 years, learn all it's idiosyncrasies, modify it to suit our personal needs, etc.

Entry level high end RV. Oxymoron??? Guy had one in our park last winter with an air bagged 2500HD Cheby TV. Chris

  • If you are going to wait 2 to 4 years to retire I would wait to buy the unit. Once you retire you will have plenty of time to research and buy. The present unit you are looking at will probably be half price by then. Same for the truck. Now of course if you are looking to be using the unit now then that's different. For 45k I think you could get a very nice higher end used DRV. JMHO
