- regarding the compare to solitude
we did a very heavy montana to solitude compare; those were the final two. my wife had a strong affinity to the montana; i liked the solitude 'a bit' more; to me the solitude felt like the windows were larger.
we didn't like giving up a slide out on the solitude (5 vs 6 in the montana); wife didn't like the sink in the island; didn't like the furniture layout in the living room in the solitude (wasn't a sectional; rather separate couches) and we felt that the appliances (stove/micro/fridge) in the montana were a step above the solitudes
end of the day; i think these are more 'opinions' then hard spec's; but for us we went with the montana - just brought a montana home last week; tell me more about the dual switches for the hot water
on the interior panel i have a hot water gas and hot water electric switch; outside beneath the panel i didn't see a switch directly on the hot water heater (previous dsi's I've own after always had the switch right on the heater; couldn't locate one on this new one)

We also have the legacy. Yes, I have had the outside and inside switch on.. Tried to reset to no avail. What is it with thetford? Keystone shoul go with domestic...dfb wrote:

- I think the 3440 is a new model therefor not many out in the wild. You may have some luck on the Montana Owners Club forum.
