- csamayfield55xExplorerWE have a 311 which is a front living of the same size. WE love our unit!! There are tons of very nice touches that add to the overall trailer. It tows like a dream!! It is 100 inches wide which doesn't seem like a lot but it adds lots of room to the interior. IT is the ONLY factory gooseneck available! This means we can drop it right onto the gooseneck on our truck with no extra parts!! It has an amazing kitchen with tons of room!
The one con we have is that recliners in the living room are hoorible, but you don't have to worry about that. You get real chairs not the euro chairs ours came with

- Rocking_BExplorerThanks for the information, Chris we pull our Cougar 320 SRX with a aftermarket gooseneck adapter since we have several other farm trailers with gooseneck couplers. It works great and the Cougar is a little heavier than the Open Range. I researched the Open Range King Pin Combo on the web and did not have any luck finding out how the factory set up was installed, is yours set up basically like a aftermarket hitch from the factory ?
Thanks Bruce - csamayfield55xExplorerBruce, the beautiful thing about the King Combo is that it is identical to a round goose coupler on any utility or stock trailer!! Slide it up, pin it in and hook up. The tow with it is ROCK SOLID and you have your whole bed when unhooked!
If you already have a gooseball then this is a wonderful way to go. The dealer threw in my coupler when I bought mine. THey had to order it but you can find it for less than a 100.00 all over
gooseneck coupler
Chris - csamayfield55xExploreroh and I agree, Openrangeowners.com is a wonderful sight with lots of info on the Light series and others. I am drtnsnw over there
Chris - Rocking_BExplorerChris, I thought that was how it was made but I have just seen some pictures of the 319 and couldn't tell for sure, we are looking at it tomorrow. You would think some of the other manufacturers would offer a hich like that, that's a great idea and a lot cheaper than buying an adapter for the lighter weight trailers.
Thanks for the info, Bruce - csamayfield55xExplorerBruce, here is a link with a few pictures of the adapter. I really think it could catch on now with SO MANY trucks coming with a goose ball from the factory. Only time will tell
