I just did this, Duravis R250 in that size.

The tire spacing with my OEM 235/85-16 tires was a bit too tight for my taste.
I couldn't even fit an X-chock between the tires...but I can now.

You should check the rim requirements with the chart at DT. Most of those sized tires require a 6.5" minimum rim width.

Which brand did you end up with? That is the size I put on my Sabre after the OEMs wore out in a year. Started out with the BFGs, and a year later ended up with the Ribs after the recall. No problems so far. Discount tire took good care of me. When was the last time a ST tire was recalled? Never mind, they don't last long enough to be recalled!:S

Your already in good shape, you have 16" wheels, Pick almost any LT and you will be much better off than with ST's. My 2 cents!

Duro's are known as "China Bombs" for a reason.

I sure wouldn't put a Duro on any highway trailer. A simple google tells us hundreds of reasons why.

Your Sabre 34 RQLS shows a 13900 GVWR and a 3292 ccc.
I would guess your trailer has 6k axles which a good USA made LT235/85-16 E at 3042 lbs works great for years of trouble free use.

If you want more reserve capacity then the LT235/85-16 G Goodyear G614 or the Sailun 235/85-16 G load range both at 3750 lbs capacity @110 psi have worked for lots of folks. Keep in mind your the tire will have to match your wheels width/pressure and load capacities.
