Hows the noise level of the Penguin II?

DO NOT get a Brisk 2. I replaced 4 in a year. Finally they sent me a Penquin II low profile and it has worked great for over 6 months.

Now trying to decide between the Brisk 2 vs Penguin II low profile. Theres about 3 inch difference in height. My roof height is about 11'6 where the front a/c will be installed. It's about $200 cheaper to install the Brisk 2. According to specs the Brisk 2 is 12.7" high and the Penguin low pro is under 10". Installing a 13.5k.

We went with the 13500 low profile penguin . Works good.

Some one mentioned the noise.We had a Dometice non ducted in the bedroom and it was LOUD. The dealer switched it out to a Attwood.Man what a difference. See if you hear the difference at a dealer.Well worth it.

I don't have a Heat Pump and never have owned one. From my understanding they don't do so well in cold weather trying to heat the RV?

Is the angle of the roof an issue? Mine has a slope towards the front.

2nd AC unit is the way to go --- but don't overlook getting a HEATPUMP.
Guarantee it will be the best decision you ever make.

I wouldn't go less than 13.5 being that you're in the deep south. That size trailer, you probably wouldn't need more than 13.5, but if you have the amperage, you might consider it, since you're down south.

Good point. My 15K's have 20A breakers. They seem to draw 13A under load. So if the RV has 15A breaker that may be too close.
