- Golden_HVACExplorerI have a friend with a air ride hitch, and he highly recommends them!
Fred. - Boxer_LoversExplorerI use a Curt 20k coupled to a Tri Glide king pin. Air bag and shock on the Tri Glide work well. Trailer is about 4,200#s over rear axle.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIWhat has a GVWR of 15,000?
If different 5vr then in signature look at 18K/20K hitches.
Curt, B&W, Demco Hijacker, Husky, TrailSaver, Sidewinder etc.
My 5vr has GVWR 14K
I have a 4 way Husky 16K - GoPackGoExplorerI run a Hensley air hitch and could not be happier. I also have a MorRyde Pinbox.
- MFLNomad IIIt is best to get a hitch that fits the trucks capability. If the truck in question has the factory puck system, the B&W 3600 above would be a great choice.
Jerry - W5CIExplorerI have the fifth wheel prep kit in my 2015 RAM 3500 with a Reese 16K Hitch with a TrailAir on the Cedar Creek
- the_bear_IIExplorerI have the B&W companion hitch only because it was installed by the up-fitter that built my truck. I've been real happy with it for the past 8 years.
Otherwise I would have gone with an air ride type hitch. - laknoxNomadI love my B&W Companion. I'm assuming you're talking about getting rid of your F350 and getting a new Ram 3500. If so, then get one with the factory FW prep and look at the B&W Companion that fits it.

X2, We have a '15 3500 LB RAM, the B & W drops right in with the factory puck system. I love it, best hitch I ever owned! It's rated for up to 25k and a max pin weight of 6k.
