5er height
is a 5th wheel taller when hooked to truck rather than sitting by self? My barn door opens to 13' 1 1/2" I was looking at a new unit that states height at 13' 1"

I would measure it exactly while it's hooked up. Stated heights don't always include the AC or vent covers. I know some people who put smaller tires on when they store their trailer just so it will clear a 12 1/2' door.
