I thought I was on top of things doing all the weight calculations and bought a truck and 5th wheel. I pick it up next weekend. I came to realize that I messed up as I only included the dry hitch weig...

Just curious .. how does putting weight behind the axles add to towing weight? Not trying to be part of the irritating weight police; I am truly trying to become informed. Isn't weight towed constant regardless of where it is located?
I assume he's referring to adding weight via additional contents that would ordinarily not be towed, eg: extra water in the freshwater tank, plate steel for the purpose of ballast only, etc.
