I made the same conversion awhile back on my Cougar and found that Keystone had the electric brakes magnets connected by a pair of wires in a sheath, one was ground and one was the positive wire tied to the the blue wire of the 7 wire connector.
I cut that wire right at the axles and pulled it back in the underbelly and used it to connect to the pump (one ground and one to the blue controller wire on the pump) in the side storage compartment. This saved me from running a new set of wires directly from the 7 pin to the pump.
Didn't have to play with breakaway switch wiring.
Unplug the breakaway switch pin when your doing the bleeding, easy way to turn on the pump.
