- Sport45Explorer IIAt the risk of derailing the thread, I'll suggest you also look at the Andersen Ultimate Aluminum hitch. It's on the top of the list for me.
It connects to any gooseneck ball. So as long as the gooseneck ball is removable you'll have a clean bed when it's out. - RustyJCExplorer

Thanks guys, where to buy the B and W hitch.
If you're installing it yourself, you can purchase it from internet sources such as PPL and Tweety's. If you want to have it installed, check B&W's "Locate a Dealer" function for the B&W dealer/installer nearest you.

Do they make one that will pop out or unbolt so I can still use the bed of truck.
OP I had the exact same truck as you and I installed a B&W TurnoverBall and a 18K Companion from my previous truck. Great combo. They now offer a 20K Companion that is really nice.
Best non air hitch on the market! - Tennessee_NomadExplorerB&W Companion hitch here. Comes out fairly easily as well. No rails.
- GoPackGoExplorerI also have the Hensley BD3 and love it. You cannot beat an air hitch IMHO.
- ReneeGExplorerTrailerSaver by Hensley. We have the BD3 model that comes apart in two pieces and leaves a flat bed. TrailerSaver Installation

You could have left out most of that post and offered some useful advice. What are some of the excellent options? You could have named a few which is what the OP actually asked for.Halmfamily wrote:
B&W is the only way to go in my opinion.

"Opinions" are like elbows (or?) - everyone usually has one or two.
Simply stated there *are* differing opinions...:S
I haven't had the others - - but MINE is best!..:S..:S
OP - lots of excellent options -
do *YOUR* research, decide which one is best for *YOU*....:C
. - johndeerefarmerExplorer IIIseveral problems with the B&W fiver hitches (and I have used their Goosenecks for years and love them) One, the B&W is not automatic if you are looking for a slider. Two, the B&W hitches have large legs that take up most of your box if you have a short bed. There is no room for a larger generator between the hitch and the cab.
