I highly recommend the Level-Up system if you can afford the extra cost. And getting it as an option is quite a bit cheaper than getting as an add-on later. We have stayed in numerous parks where it was necessary to level in both directions. That salesman does NOT know what he is talking about and just wants to make a sale.
We do not boondock (yet) and always stay in RV parks with 50 amp power. So a generator would just be extra weight to carry. When we get around to doing any boondocking, we will probably get a Honda genny.
