6 point auto level; Level-ish?

This is new for us. Not having an issues with its function, but after taking a shower, our FW is definitely nose down. I could notice it marginally just living in it, but the shower made it way more obvious.

We're good left to right, is it customary to have to raise or lower the cap?

Also, will this be different at every stop, or do i need to have the dealer make an adjustment to the system?
  • Don't add fluid unless your slides are in and your jacks are up.

  • I did notice after posting, my hydraulic fluid took a pretty decent hit after parking and setting the past 2 days.

Our unit is new, im in a huge RV dealer area, any best option for adding to my system?
  • You can download the manual if you don't have a copy. It has the instructions on how to re-calibrate the "level" set point. I check mine with a level once or twice a year and re-calibrate the system if required.

Also, mine has a tendency to start making a "popping" noise during the heating and cooling of the day after it has been parked for awhile. There is a service bulletin you can find on the net that tells you how to add a quart or two of anti Stiction fluid to help with the problem should you encounter it. I made a couple measurements on my struts and was somewhat surprised to see that normal expansion and contraction on days with wide temperature swings between night and day could be almost a half inch.
  • Your welcome. It does sound like a weird way to do this, but it did work for me. Not the first time I tried it, however. If memory serves me, I think I actually had to push the buttons 11 times rather than 10. If its a new FW, maybe the dealer forgot to calibrate the system. No biggie. Good luck.
  • Thanks you. We're out on our 2nd night with this FW, so it always is best to ask others experience.
  • After a good period of time, I notice mine has to be leveled and recalibrated. I have had ours 4 years and recalibrated it once. There is a series of keystrokes to do this but I can not remember them. How to do it is in the manual. No need to take it to the dealer. The need seems to slowly happen over time. I think I did it last year so I may have a couple more years until I need to do it again.

I'm not sure what you have exactly.
