Yes, I think so.

Can you lift the entire 5er off the ground?

You can, but Lippert says not to do it. I’ve done it when I put on my Moryde 4000 and wet bolt kit and would use it to change a flat if needed.

Do 5ers with this system still jiggle as a person walks around inside?

Yes, we still have some movement.

Is there a down side to these systems?

I haven’t found one yet, and I wouldn’t buy another rig without it.

Exactly as I have found on mine after 2 years, I won't buy another without it. Yes they do lose calibration, zero point in their language. Easy to reset just follow the manual. I think I have done it 2 or 3 times in the two years and I use my 5W traveling about 9 months a year.

As long as the 6 point system comes with JT strong arms then yes they are good and virtually eliminate the jiggles as you call it. I would not use mine to lift the fiver off the ground except in an emergency situation and then be cautious.

We have it on our 5er and we have very little movement. This is the first unit we had with a leveling system. It is electric and not hydraulic.

The six point leveling system is not really new... it’s been out now for many years.. I have and like the hydraulic system over the electric system...

Use blocks under the pads t9 shorten the amount of leg extensi9n for a more stable RV...

After own8ng several RVs without sis point leveling I wouldn’t buy another without it..and it would be Hydraulic.

We have a 4-point on our KZ and love it. We also have factory JTs. The difference between our old Komfort, with old-style stabilizers and the 4-point, by itself, is amazing. I've forgotten to snug up the JTs a couple times and it took a while before I noticed. Once I did, the FW's as rock-solid as you could expect, short of putting a dozen jack stands under the frame.

Yes, you can lift the entire rig off the ground. Our system lifts the curb-side wheels off every time I part it in front of our house. Given that each jack will lift about 75% of the weight of the entire rig at GVW, I have zero issues with lifting one side if I needed to change a tire. In an extreme, I'd lift my entire rig, but block it on the frame for security. Our system is all-electric, so have no issues with leak-down like a hydro system could.

Yes, you can still feel some movement in our rig but, as I said above, the difference with our old FW is so great that we almost don't notice it. The JTs just make it even better.

Downside in our system is that the rear jacks only have about 8 or 10" of travel, so it's easy to run out on uneven ground. This is why my rig lifts the curb tires off the ground; slight slope to the rear and the crown in the road. I have to add a piece of cut off glue-lam under the right rear jack to prevent this. Another con is that it's and LCI product, so... That being said, I doubt I'll have another RV without auto-level =or= JT Strongarms! :B

Thanks everyone. This helps with some decisions we will be making soon.

New coach came w/ them and we love them....6 pt level up. Beats having to place boards under wheels. A lot more stable than just front legs and rear stabs. Still have a lil wiggle, but doable. Have lifted the whole coach or all tires off the ground w/o a problem. One criteria the DW had was that we get the 6 pt on the next coach. We place blocking under the legs to lessen the gap between pad and ground. Takes longer to figure out how much to put under each leg than to level it. Once you hit Auto-Level, it's like <2 minutes and she's done.

Much depends upon the integrity (strength) of your frame. We have a 15 year old Bigfoot system , 4 legs (jacks) which can lift our 20+ K pound 5th wheel completely off the ground, and is quite stable. Our 5er has been parked in our barn since December, and is still level! The more you extend the jacks, the more “jiggle” you will have. If we only level ours, with some weight still on the tires, you would have to be using a mini-trampoline to get much “jiggle”! We can run the washing machine and the dryer, and never hear or feel them! Again, a lot depends on the trailer frame, but the Bigfoot system is made in America with good components ( unless they’ve recently gone cheap), and historically has been a great system with good factory support.....if/when you need it!
