- B_O__PlentyExplorer III just installed a new B&W Patriot hitch. One of the nicest and most well made products products I've seen. Shipped to me in two boxes that were fitted to the parts inside to eliminate shipping damage, perfect welds, no slag, no scratches, no runs in the final finish, decals are on straight. A work of art and it's all American made including the raw materials! I'm proud to own it.
B.O. - ricaticExplorer...there has to be one in every crowd...B&W receives unmatched customer satisfaction numbers because they designed a product that works well, is reliable and then they provide customer support that is also industry leading...

And then there's the customer service. A HUGE compliment to them from me. I had the dreaded pickup bed crushing from my Companion hitch, not B&Ws fault. GM decided to cheapen the steel thickness. I contacted them and they sent me two large pieces to attach to my Companion. No charge, no hassle and no questions asked. I appreciated it immensely. So nice to deal with a quality company these days.
I do not agree about it not being B&W's fault.
I see it as a very poor design and when I was looking for a hitch I saw this as being a poor engineering design and decided to go with a hitch that connects all four support points to the frame.
Also GM is not the only bed that has this problem.
The newer B&W hitches that connect to the puck system is probably one of the best hitches available today. Plus they are made in the USA which to me is a big thing. - NHIrishExplorer

Same issue and same comments...great company! - RustyJCExplorerI've been towing with a B&W Turnoverball/Companion 5th wheel hitch since 2001 - the hitch head I'm using today on my 20K Companion is still the original from 2001!! Back in the early days when I would e-mail B&W, I usually wound up communicating with Joe Works (the "W" in B&W) himself. Their customer service has always been second-to-none. For example, after probably 7-8 years and many Companion hitch removal and reinstallation procedures, the pull-down bolt between the 18K Companion and the Turnoverball adapter post was showing some signs of galling (and, yes, I use anti-seize on it). I called B&W for a replacement bolt - what I got at no charge was the complete bag of hardware including new U-bolts and every other loose fastener that ships with a new Companion hitch.
Top notch company with top notch products and customer support.
