A new P/U 2500 or 3500

Since you're having fun with me... "all that" amounts to a lot of my own choice vice what I really needed. However, the ONLY things I did to my 2012 which impacted it's load tow/carry ability was add Load Lifter 5000 airbags ($279)and 285 size tires ($800). If you doubt the differences between a 2500 and 3500, go do the same thing I did when told they were near identical. Start checking part numbers for brakes, axles, hubs, etc... you'll find they are the same for the 2500 and 3500.

OMG, all that to pull/carry a 12,500# or so 5er! :S

I pull carry basically the same 5er with my 2001 2500! That and the is no way a 3500 SRW and a 2500 has a $10,000 price difference if optioned the same. The differences I noticed shopping Dennis Dillon is about $1,000!

well DRW is only a $1,500 option.

Actually less than that, a real bargain $1,020. Mine included Alcoa's.

Also the 2500 has coil rear springs, not easy/cheap to upgrade to leaf/air ride. Do yourself a favor and get the 3500.
