A small wet spot in my master bedroom on my left side of bed

I have a 2014 keystone alpine 5th wheel and I noticed that there is a small wet spot on my floor in my master bedroom on the left side of the bedroom floor. Im located in Washington state and it rains 9 months out of the year but this last few days it has been non stop heavy rain and I just noticed my floor was wet when I was getting into bed. There is no leaks anywhere that I can find. The walls aren't discolored or wet or warped. Its just in that one spot that is wet and I have 3 slide outs on my 5th wheel one being in our bedroom. Has anyone dealt with anything likes this before or know what is causing it to get wet? I've noticed a little musty smell when I come in my 5th wheel and its never had that smell before. We bought this in June 2025 and have been living in it full-time since then and have had no issues until now. Can anyone help or give me a direction on where to start please I would greatly appreciate it.

  • If it’s right near the slide out it’s plausible that the wind driven or hard rain just got past the slide seal a bit.

Of course you could have a real leak that we can’t help with. It’s been raining every day and you’re living in it. If it’s an actual leak from the roof etc it will leak every time.
Figure it out. Does it leak every time it rains? Does it leak with the slide in?

You live there this is easy to figure out whether it’s a real problem or not.
But also makes no sense if you’re living in it and it suddenly smells musty one day

  • get up on the roof and look real good all over.  the tinyest crack that you have to look for to find in the sealant can cause this.  I just went through this in the summer, sealed up what I thought was the leak, and redid a bunch of extra, then it happened again a week later during a rain, the only thing I could find was a faint crack in the trim moulding calk so I forced new stuff into the crack and its gone.  as for musty, if it is musty it has been happening for a while and just hasn't presented it self till now

  • A musty smell is indicative of an ongoing leak that may have lead to the growth of mold and mildew. Leaks are tricky and no one on here will be able to armchair diagnose it. But leaks can literally come from anywhere in an RV. The roof , tops of slides, windows down into walls, I have even seen water trail down the outside wall of a slide and run into the unsealed under side trim of the slide and into the floor of the RV. And often those only happen when conditions are just right and the Rv is at a certain angle. Not sure how often you maintenance your RV but the first thing I would do on a used RV is re caulk the roof and seals. You have an 11 year old Rv and who knows what sort of maintenance it had before you got it. If you can't diagnose it yourself, it may be worth taking it to a professional to have it leak tested. Beyond the damage you can't see that will continue to get worse, you may have a mold problem which is a health hazard. Good luck.

Also, if I remember, you just put a dryer vent in right? Maybe start there. You also can't rule out plumbing.
