Added Sewer Hose Storage Tubes Under Belly
I wanted to do the same to this Th that I did to my 5er. So I got the stuff together and added the tubes for the sewer hose and anything else I can think of.

To answer a couple of your questions:
Yes, I do check the zip ties often for brittleness. I used 9 of them over the length of the holder. They have been there for 3 years now and are holding well...no sunlight underneath.
I used 2 stainless spring latches/catches (ebay) ...one on each side of the tube....I tried to use a hinge but it just wouldn't work smoothly for me. They are attached with short pop rivets. You could also use a couple of short nut and bolt set ups.
