We've done extensive research on the Grand Design fifth wheels and plan to go full-time in a Reflection. There are NONE of the Solitudes that are 3/4 ton RVs - take the advice of the many that have posted in this thread before me and head for the nearest CAT scales fully loaded for travel. If you do that and calculate the numbers, I think you'll be surprised to find just how far over the gross rear axle weight rating you are.
Modern 2500"s have 7,000# rear axles, so while the OP could be over GVWR, not likely over GRAWR! Heck I have a 2001 2500 and run 1,200# over "GVWR" which for the Camper Package is the same GVWR as a non camper package!!! Well no bags needed as I don't even engage the uper overloads !! Still about 600# UNDER rear GRAWR. My rig tows like a dream, NOW Bil's and shocks on the 5er, last step will be a correct track on the 5er to align and level.
