It's a fact that no matter what you add, you will not change the numbers on the door sticker....however that does not take away from the fact that the modifications like airbags, larger size tires, better shocks or an extra spring WILL help!!
The original poster asked the simple question about installing airbags to help with porpoising and then all hell broke loose about how his Tow vehicle was not enough truck.

Yes, but there are other issues that can cause that symptom air bag may help, but if you fix the root cause bags may not be needed.
