I have a 25K airsafe hitch since 2006 and love it. It has a Binkley Holland head on it.They don't make a Binkley Holland head anymore . But TrailerSaver makes one that is just like it . So if I had to buy a new air hitch right now I would go with the TrailerSaver. Because I think that head is the best.If airsafe hitch would make a copy of the Binkley Holland Head like TrailerSaver did. I would buy another airsafe hitch. The way the hitch is setup with the 4 air bags. My 5th wheel rides so smooth you almost don't know it is behind you. Nothing moves in the 5th wheel unless I slam on the brakes
I have had an air safe for 6 years. It does not have the Binkley style head. I LOVE it. I have had Reese and B and W. I have towed 5th wheels 18 years. I do wish it had the Binkley style head. I now have a Brinkley 3100 z that had a verified 3600lb pin weight with the curt helix 5th wheel hitch on the rv. It arcs oddly downward when unhooking which often requires me to get back in the truck and put in reverse after the rv is raised to release any pinch or drag so I can open the hitch. The curt helix’s design causes this. I had no such issues with other non moving (rotating) 5th wheel pin boxes. The the two together are NOT at all overly redundant. Very smooth ride between the two. The air safe is a solid piece of iron with four air bags - one in each corner.
