They do connect to the frame.

Seems to be gaining in popularity. discussed quite a bit on the Cummins Forum. The ones that have them, and have had both the conventional, and the Andersen , swear by the Andersen. Whether they really catch on remains to be seen.

This is the Anderson Hitch and it has been discussed to death.

No thanks! Can't lock RV to hitch. Not as easy to hookup as regular hitch. Needs safety chains.

Light 5er OK but no way heavy.

Will stick with B&W RVK3600 that attaches directly to my frame.
