I've owned something like 4 different hitches in the 25 odd years I've been towing 5th wheels, the Andersen is one of them.
The biggest down side for me is how high I have to jack the trailer to hitch/un-hitch. This is because at home I just have about 6 inches in clearance between the rigs roof and the roof of the RV-Port.
I've seen photos of two different "failures", one was a clear failure of the attachment of the hitch to the truck, it appeared to me that the rails were not properly attached to the truck frame (clearly not a failure of the hitch)
The other appeared to be a failure of the hitch structure, not certain how it happened.
Unlike any other hitch we've had the DW can remove it by herself
