The only thing I can add here is that if you have a new RV under warranty and the frame was made by Lippert, Lippert will deny any damage claim you may make if you are using the Andersen Ultimate hitch.
They consider it a "gooseneck type" and it is not approved for use with their frame.
Will it cause any damage? Most likely not, as the geometry pretty much duplicates a fifth wheel hitch.
However, if you suffer damage while using the Andersen, regardless if it caused the damage or not, you will find yourself without financial coverage from Lippert. Frame damage can be caused by many sources, not just the hitch.
Andersen does supply a $5mm warranty of their own, so in the end you may be covered by their independent warranty, but make sure you have the stomach for a potential "no man's land" in between claim denial by Lippert and reimbursement by Andersen. I have no idea how smoothly that redirection may occur, but I could imagine it being a long and expensive limbo period.
In the end, I did not have the stomach to risk putting my finances at stake like that, so I bought a Reese Goose Box, which is the only gooseneck type hitch approved by Lippert. No "no man's land" in that scenario, and you have full gooseneck advantages.
