I got just the one sensor to try it out. It does work well, and it's been a couple months and it's still on the same battery.
It seems to work very well although the range isn't great. The main issue I have is that my wireless meat thermometer and the tank sensor interfere with each other and I can't get readings from either. I didn't get the monitor and use a tablet with their app for checking the level.
Because of the issues with the wireless meat thermometer, I just use it to check LP level before I start smoking. Unless you sync it, it only checks the level and transmits every half hour. Which is plenty I would imagine, and better for battery life.
I smoked some ribs the other day and had the smoker on for about 5 hours and, according to the gauge, the level in my 30 lb. tank went from 98 percent to 93 percent. That seems about right based on past experience.
