Are My Michelin Tires Dry-Rotting?
I had six new Michelin LT235-80R17 tires installed on my Dodge dually a year and a half ago and I now see what to me looks like early signs of dry-rotting Am I correct?

I didn't notice any in the top picture, but I do in the bottom picture. They seem to be in the beginning stages. We had this problem all the time on the farm. Most equipment had to set outside do to size. We kept running them but remember we were only running about 5 miles per hour. When the tire blew we changed it without damage to the equipment. If I was you I would start looking for replacement.
