At one time is what long bed ,short bed, but things have changed I guess, but to me my new Ram Mega Cab is a short bed . I have never towed a fifth wheel with anything other then two crew cab short beds. I have a manual slider ,and have never used it for towing, have used it to back into my RV pad beside my house, its a tight fit.
