Depends on what you're hanging of course. I have stud plans for my toyhauler in a PDF (amazing how sparse the studs are). I use the 3M stick on hooks where possible. really handy in the bedroom and kitchen.
To hang my 37" TV I used a combination of a larger piece of plywood attached to the wall with molly bolts and real bolts where possible. On the other side use the kitchen cabinets. I hung this 7 years ago and it's been over the Alcan a few times since.
I also put a cargo slide (like you see in Class A's) in the loft bed space. I put my bolts for the rails next to the frame and used fender washers for grip. I full-time and keep this loaded with bulk items from Costco and seasonal clothing.
I used molly bolts for a 3" wide piece of oak mounted by the front door and hung coat hooks off of that.
I'll probably never sell my toyhauler because I've got so much work in it.
This morning I've got my PDF out checking stud spacing so I can put up a piece of plywood in the garage to hang my 8' ladder off of.
