That's what I thought too so explain this. I've had 3 5th wheel trailers. First had ~2200 pin. Front axle weight same. Next went up to ~2600, front axle dropped 100 lbs. Now at ~3100 and front axle dropped 200 lbs. The center of the pin is appx 1" in front of the center of the axle. Definitely not behind as I thought.
