It's good to know you did no research of your own and call out the people who have and know the facts. The ratings of a 250 aren't set by engineers but by marketing. They do it because they need both a class 2 and class 3 SRW truck to be competitive in the market. But please don't take the word of anyone who took the time to verify this. Please do your own homework and report back. Let us know the differences in part numbers between the two builds. We'll be waiting with baited breath...
Oh, and you can also order a 350 SRW with a GVWR of 10k. Did the engineers set that rating too? Let us know the physical differences between those two while your at it.
