If there is no difference between a 250 and a 350, why is there a 250 and a 350?
As was said, to fill a market niche. Also, many states' registration is weight-based, so having a lighter-rated truck means cheaper tags.

Two things one if it just registration you do know that F350 standard GVWR is 10,000 lbs and anything above that is optional that has to be ordered as an option. Now, why is there a need for 250's?
