Awning question

I pulled my camper from the shed to my shop to do some work on the camper,an as the camper was out, it got rained on. Here is my question, do I need to unfurl the awning to let it dry, or what do I need to do. I want to maintain my rig the best I can, nowdays there isn't nothing cheap to replace on these rigs. As you can tell I am new at these campers. That is why I am glad I found this web site.

  • We do unroll ours to dry out so as to prevent mold. We, like you stated, find nothing cheap to replace and an awning is quite expensive. They do have covers to keep them dry, but I don't know anything about them.
  • My trailer is outside year round. So plenty of rain on the stored awning. Leave it rolled, unroll it and let it dry is up to you. If you have the space, open it and let it dry. Otherwise don't worry about it.
