Axle issues

Question

Cougar 327 RES  2010-- My friend had a bent axle which was replaced last year.  He is having towing issues and a tire is wearing uneven.  He thinks either the front axle may be bent or something may be out of alignment.  Has anyone else had these issues w/ axles and where would you take it.  The dealer is not much help.  We also need to know where is the best place to have it aligned.  Thanks for your help in advance.

Look for a place that works the over the road trucks.  They will be able to at least tell you where to go.

you might consider a trailer shop instead of an rv shop including a semi trailer shop good luck

Had the same issue a few years ago with my first fifth wheel.  I took it to a shop that specialized in commercial trailers.  I had to have one axle replaced ane then they aligned the wheels using lazer technology.  Trailer was fine afterwards.

I ruined an axel &amp; a few tires before I posted my issue on this forum &amp; everyone suggested it was an alligment problem....and they were correct.  Thanks folks!!!  :)  I had it alligned at a truck allignment shop.
