Bay Hill vs Big Horn

My wife and I are looking to buy a new 5th wheel. We have narrowed our choices down to the Heartland Big Horn and the Evergreen Bay Hill. They have vitually identical floor plans in the models we would be interested in. I am interested in getting any feedback on the 2 products with regard to build quality. The only major visual difference is that the Big Horn has a molded fiberglass rear cap and the Bay Hill doesn't. This is of some concern to me. Otherwise the Bay Hill is a very nice looking unit. Any input would be appreciated.
  • We have had our Bighorn for almost two years. There were a few problems at the PDI but were taken care of before signing the papers. No problems since then.

  • I have used my 2009 Big Horn for work travel since new...many multi month deployments...it still looks new and I have had no serious issues...I would buy another in a heartbeat...but this one still does the job...

  • Don't know anything about Bay Hill, but we lived in a Bighorn for six years. Great, well made unit...loved it so much we upgraded to a Heartland Landmark last year.
