Well can't tow on the rims and 16's go up in diameter and do not fit with much room in the wheel well. nor between the two tires.
You can tow on the rims..... just not very far.
How do you know it won't fit. Have you tried?
What toyhauler do you have?
You ever think he may only have 5 lug wheels...no 16s available for that!
