- cb1000riderExplorerCount me in as someone with a new (2015) Keystone 5th wheel that has a roof problem. I'm hyper diligent about maintaining the roof and when I saw that the TPO was cut on the AC, I put a camera up top. The entire 1/3 front of the roof was being pulled up by low pressure when towing. Secure in front.
I've talked to two other owners that had either bad sealant up front, or the roof un-tucked and entire membrane ripped off. These are re-roof jobs and you need to be very careful about who does them...
Keystone has said "sorry" - and take it to a dealer... That's it so far. - C-BearsExplorer

nitrohorse, that was probably a good move with the extended warranty purchase. We did the same thing last year for the same reasons. What I didn't expect was how horrible Keystone RV was at honoring their factory warranty! That one year factory warranty has come and gone with repair denials so now we will have to depend on our extended.
I agree. My wife actually talked me into it. Do you believe it was Keystone who fought the warranty claims or the dealership? I was told that the dealership plays a large part in what is approved or not?
No, it was all Keystone RV. There seems to be many newer models that are starting to have roof issues (raised staples, roof membrane coming up, etc.). Dealers are looking at them and writing up suggested warranty repair orders only to have Keystone RV refuse to pay. I have been going back and forth with them for months, they have now confirmed that I "may have" a roof problem and want me to take it back to the dealer again for an inspection, estimate, and warranty submission.
I have only owned Keystone Montana models (one used and one new). So I don't have any other experience with RV manufacturers factory warranties. But I am not impressed with how Keystone RV treats their customers under warranty and I sure won't be buying another one unless something drastically changes. - Ford_ManExplorerBig Sky

This is what a Keystone Rep told me several years ago and back in January at an RV Show. - nitrohorseExplorer

- nitrohorseExplorerMy wife and I just bought a 2015 Keystone Sprinter Copper Canyon 333FWFLS after months of research. The first criteria we used was price. We were not interested in an $80000 fifth wheel, so we narrowed our selections to what we could comfortably afford. Secondly, I researched building materials and process. I wanted aluminum framing and foam insulation. The appliances and HVAC are mostly standard across the board in my opinion, so those were of less concern. The interior construction materials for our price point were pretty much the same across the spectrum of manufacturers. So far, we are happy with our purchase. After reading all the horror stories about new RV purchases, I did something I never did before and purchased the extended warranty.Time will tell if it was worth it or not. This is just my humble experience and opinion. Hope it helps....
- TGPILOTExplorerNot to hijack the thread, but what is every ones thoughts on the Keystone Copper Canyon? I would like to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

My experience, theses different product lines are the same in their build quality. The difference is in their amenities.
Mostly more or less bling. - any_rd_but_mainExplorerAccording to Keystone Alpine & Montana are their Luxury line. Avalanche Fuzion Raptor Mountaineer and one of their Montana are their Premium line. The Cougars Outback Laredo Carbon Sprinter are their Select line. The Hide out and Springdale are their Standard line. Good luck in your search we have a 2014 295RL Avalanche
