BF Goodrich Commercial T/A's are on!

I also went through the LT tire research earlier this year and ended up with the BFG Commercial T/A. This tire, the Duravis 250, and Mich Ribs seem to be the 3 top choices. Ended up with the BFG's due to the substantial cost savings, especially doing all 7 tires on my triple axle. 6 months in, approx. 10k miles later and they are doing great.

I'm also a big fan of discount tire. We were in San Diego at the time we had the tires done, and they actually sent a tech out to our campground after we realized we couldn't get the trailer into their parking lot.

This is exactly why I bought the BFG's as well. I am a big Michelin fan (run them on my truck and my wife's SUV) but the Ribs were a bit too steep for me. The Duravis also look like a great tire but they were almost $200 more total than the BFG's were. I am sure there have been some failures with the Commercial T/A but the reviews I read of them had many more satisfied owners than dissatisfied. If we were full timing or putting a ton of miles on the trailer I likely would have opted for one of the others.

The trailer seemed to be much smoother on the way home and the tires were just slightly warm when we got home so all is good. Oh, and they have date codes of a combination of 1613 and 1813 so they are quite fresh! The guys at Discount Tire said these are one of their more popular trailer tires so I feel quite confident about the purchase.
