On our Montana the leak was coming from a poorly caulked 4" trim
piece on the lower edge on the outside of the slide. Water would get in, and the plastic covering on the bottom of the slide would hold the water in.
Repair was not that hard. Remove lower trim and pry back plastic
membrane. Cut out damaged plywood and replace. (a vibrating utility
or detail saw works great) Caulk heavily and replace. I used Dicor
non leveling sealant but Proflex would work as well.
2 years later and no recurring problem.
