Brake controller, Dodge built in unit

2010 Dodge IBC is marginal at best. They did get better a couple years newer. You can replace it with a Prodigy but you need to provide power to the factory unit or you will get a warning light on the dash. The way to do it is to use the Prodigy plug in harness for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee or new new Dodge Durango. That will fit into the plug that now goes to your factory IBC. You then tap a ground and a hot wire from that to feed you original brake controller to make it "think" it's still part of the circuit...
