We hook it to a dedicated loop that was installed on the bumper. - Road_RunnersExplorerI put an eye on my hitch so I could hook the brake switch wire to the hitch. Been doing that for 18 years now. I don't think it makes much difference where you hook it as long as it hooked to the tow vehicle.
