The FACT is if the handle is closed and the kingpin and hitch plates are touching and if you want to look and the jaws are closed around the kingpin YOU ARE HITCHED and IMHO no meed for a pull test.
Very high quality with 1 1/8" thick jaws.
Here we go again, We can say that about any hitch, handle closed kingpin and hitch plates touching , and a visual that the jaw is closed, and to add one the safety pin in place, and to add another do a pull test if it makes you feel better, better yet if you want to be completely covered get a bedsaver. Anyone can drop a fifth wheel with ANY hitch if the the correct procedures are not followed.
I knew I would bring you out!
I never look to see if the MASSIVE jaws are closed around the kingpin. I do LOCK my handle.
Ya just never know since some people are "Up To No Good" !!!
