- WeBeFulltimersExplorerTwo months ago I purchased a B & W Patriot to replace the 4 year old Reese piece of junk I had. In a word...PERFECT!
- car2900ExplorerI have had a B & W Patriot for over a year and 8,000 miles towing, the best hitch I have ever had. B&W is the only hitch I will ever have.
- JOHNLExplorerI had a problem with my companion B&W base, called B&W, send photos on internet of problem and they sent me a new base - no questions asked. It is a pleasure to deal with such a Company as B&W and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks B&W - Made in America.

The only down side I notice, is I need to stand on a stool, to get the locking pin in or out. Maybe it is just me, as I am only 5'9".

No, it's not just you. I have the Companion and need to stand on the outside dual tire to reach the pin. I don't mind.
Another vote in the club. Due to my dual rear wheels, I can't reach the latch arm. For a while, I was using a step that you set over the tire and then up onto it. But, I was lazy and just pulled myself up using the side of the bed (where my Retrax Pro cover is) and stood on the tire. I've noticed that the retrax cover's bolt-down support has wiggled free on that side- I assume because of me flexing the cover each time I'm up and down. - Alley_FoxExplorerI also have the Companion, 4 years, 22K miles and two 5th wheels, it does everything I have asked it to do and has not ever complained. I would guess the Patriot should perform just as well.

Same here @5'6". I just grab the bed and step up on the tire, while standing on the tire I can reach in and set the pin. I'm not short my trucks just too high:) - MFLNomad III got my Patriot in May. I experienced all the good things mentioned above.

Jerry - filrupmarkExplorerThanks For all of the help. My Drawtite is now headed for the scrapyard. I ordering the Patriot today. Hopefully our ride will be Nice and smooth.
- camper3073ExplorerI too have had my B&W Patriot for about a month. I have towed over 2000 miles with it and I really like it. Just like it was mentioned the hitching up and unhitching is so easy. Nice and quiet while towing.
