- notevenExplorer IIIOur old Carriage has a steel frame. Is lippert some kind of alloy?
- goducks10ExplorerWell that blows. Live n learn I guess.
- Mile_HighExplorerThere is no such thing as a Falcon Frame. Falcon "Fit" is a hype where the manufacturer uses all Lippert parts; frame, axles, brakes, steps, jacks, pin box, hitch, etc, versus other manufacturers that mix parts.
Our Redwood is the same hype - Falcon "fit". The concept is the Engineering should be better because its all from the same house, and the ability to repair and get parts should be easier - "one stop shop" so to speak.
What it doesn't streamline is Lippert and the trailer manufacturer figuring out whose fault the problem was and who is going to pick up the cost of the warranty (been there). A bit of finger pointing has to occur, but a good manufacturer will always take care of the customer regardless of Lippert. - goducks10ExplorerCarriage and Cameo I believe are built on Falcon 12" frames. Not Lippert. Can't vouch for Falcon frames.

The frame is the foundation of your house on wheels. As far as the Quality of construction, I would recommend starting with the frame and suspension and work your way up. My past experience, has gotten me past being a lip stick fanatic.

I agree: love the floor plan but support it with a well built frame and get the best suspension you can afford. - lillyputzExplorer II

ya-ya-ya - Lippert frames are like the Kaiser Liberty Ships, just ready to break in half at any moment. You can see the smoke piles of rubble every couple of miles on the highway. Just awful isn't it? Dodging all those broken trailer parts on the highway? :R
I'm sure you'll send LifeStyle into bankruptcy before too long Lilly, then what will you carriage folks do? All two or three of you :)
Ha-Ha-Ha. This analogy, leaves much to be desired.
Lillyputz - C-BearsExplorerMy brother-in-laws MH has been in the shop 10 times more often than my junky Montana (guess who that parent company is). The RV resort we are in this winter has dozens of high end MH's. My neighbors looks like it is about a 2013 or newer. Mobile tech has been out to visit him twice in a month!
Mostly same components, just different $15.00 per hour folks snapping the parts together so they can sell a product that is marked up almost 50% to the public. - rmalik1Explorer

like I said DRV uses Lippert frame - one of the best on the market.
I agree w/ ur thoughts here as Lippert frames are on most towables that are on the road today.Do they make the best frames for every trailer? no; just the the Company that willing to spend more on a better frame. - rmalik1Explorer

Don't get excited. Its just another junky Thor/Crossroad product
Looks too me like you called it junky.
As the OP I didn't say it was junk. The first response to my opening statement did. - Mile_HighExplorerya-ya-ya - Lippert frames are like the Kaiser Liberty Ships, just ready to break in half at any moment.
