I'm sure you can spend $60000 on a truck or $80000, but I can say it is possible to get a better deal if one looks. My wife and I purchased a 2016 f350 diesel dually crew cab XLT with the enhanced package last April for $51000. The dealer gave us book value for a f250. It was a legitimate deal with no "games". If we're blessed and wise this truck will last 15 or 20 years. So the way we see it that is money wisely spent if you consider inflation over that period of time
