Here is GOOGLE map showing LOUISVILLE KY...
    LOUISVILLE CAMP GROUNDS

When you open up the MAP then type in RV PARKS and CAMPGROUNDS... Will show locations on the map and give you list on the left side.

  • The fairgrounds has camping. But not sure if it's open when no fair though.
Also,if it's still there, just across from the side of the horse track is a small campground, holds about 6 campers unless a big toy hauler is in there, then only 4 can fit. When last there her husband just died and the track wanted to buy the land for parking.

  • There is nothing in SE LSVL, I believe the closest State Park is in Charlestown, IN, maybe 40 miles from Oxmoor Mall in the east end of LSVL. The park Charlestown State Park is nice, with full hook-ups.

    I really like grandmas campground

I haven't stayed there yet but have a reservation for July. $140/week with full hookups. Nice people on the phone...
  • We stayed at the KOA south, about a month ago and really liked it. It's nice size a lot of trees, and Sheperdsville the town it's near has a lot of shopping and restaurants. We went to Louisville Slugger and its only about a 10 minute ride to the downtown area.
