That is the idea I had in mind since there is a lot of space available there. Not sure how or what would be the best way to secure a rack to the floor though?
I was thinking about attaching it to the buggy. But if yours in a high end car then you probably don't want to do that.
An aluminum rack would not be too heavy. Maybe with some rubber bottomed feet and span across the front of the car, then a couple of tie downs to hold it in place?
