Cedar Creek 2' of snow

We are in Montana and normally we don't get too much snow. This year I am looking at 26" of snow on top of the rig.Whats the safest way to remove the snow? The snow is still soft.

We use the ladder and push broom here.. I definitely get the snow off of the slide out cover... Same with my truck...

When the snow is soft I use a regular broom to sweep out the paths... I can make a path pretty quick path by going back and forth with the broom slowly walking ...

  • I just go up and shovel mine...and have to do it a lot up here. Don't use a shovel with sharp edges though!
  • I'd agree that a ladder and push broom would be the safest way. I wouldn't want to climb on top with snow on it. Might step on something like a vent and break that or may cause you to fall.
I use the push broom all the time to pull snow off the cars that are parked outside. We don't get nearly that much snow here so I haven't had to take any off the campers.

Ladder and a soft bristle push broom.
You don't need to get it all off just most of it.
Use the broom to pull off, just to the side of the ladder. If you have a leaf blower that might work well also.
